To protect and enhance Tallebudgera Creek Catchment’s ecological integrity

TCCG formed in 2000. The group’s main project was the restoration of a degraded riparian zone along Tallebudgera Creek. The site is located on either side of Coplicks Bridge on Tallebudgera Connection Road and was previously used as a Main Roads stockpile. This site was progressively regenerated by TCCG with the help from Main Roads, GCCC, Burleigh Heads and Palm Beach Lions Clubs and Tallebudgera State School. The site has hosted Clean Up Australia Day campaigns, Environmental Education days, Main Roads social functions and Work for the Dole Projects.

The site is now maintained by GCCC and Main Roads.

TCCG Hosted the launch of Weed Busters Week in 2001 at Ingleside School, Tallebudgera

The group was nominated as a finalist in the community section of the Healthy Waterways Awards in 2004.
